Our VSLA program in 2020 made a significant improvement in terms of members saving mobilization and access to loan for the poor as compared to 2019. However, in terms of membership it dropped as indicated here; VSLA members in 2019 were 191 and in 2020 were 179 hence the membership dropped by 12 members. This is basically because two VSLA in Lobonok did not operate because of insecurity. In 2020 there were a total of 179 members of which 45 were male and 134 were female. Total amount saved was 2,855,600 SSP and total loan disbursed was 7,898,000 SSP. The VSLA members realized a profit of 3,359,634 SSP from the loans they have given to its members. Savings increased by 84% from 1,555,580 SSP in 2019 to 2,855,600 SSP in 2020 and loan increased by 292% from 2,017,070 SSP to 7,898,000 SSP.
