Health and Nutrition

In the health sector our activities mainly focus on community awareness on disease prevention and control. Our awareness on disease prevention and control will be on communicable and other non-communicable diseases. Communicable diseases (Tuberculosis (TB), cholera and hepatitis (B and C), sexual transmitted infections/diseases (HIV/AIDS) and other non-communicable diseases (malaria) and immunization campaign. Our program on disease prevention and control will target local community and institutions like schools, colleges etc.

Reproductive Sexual Health (RSH).

Our reproductive sexual health will mainly focus on HIV/AIDS education and awareness campaign focusing on youth and adolescents, reduction in early marriage through educating age group between 10 – 19 years of age in reproductive  sexual health through school intervention and community level intervention for non-school going adolescents , adolescents basic health and hygiene, genital and sanitation issues , developing peer educators to combat myths and misconceptions on reproductive sexual health ,sensitize community leaders on issues of RSH and ARSH  and finally  delayed pregnancies through awareness on safe sex and fertility control.
