Who We Are
The primary focus of ICP is on the problem of the poor in their struggle to obtain basic needs and dignified life free of poverty.
ICP is a National Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) founded in 2017. Registered on 29th May 2017 as a National Non-Governmental Organization by Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC) under chapter3, Section 10 of NGOs Act, 2016 to work in the Republic of South Sudan as a National Non-Governmental Organization bearing registration number 835.
Food security, livelihoods, environmental conservation, education for the disadvantage, health and sanitation, child protection, gender-based violence and peace building are our primary areas of concern.

Our philosophy
ICP philosophy is ‘‘Self-Reliance” ICP believes in the philosophy of self-reliance hence ICP, strives to inculcate a spirit of self-reliance among communities through empowering them with relevant skills that can transform their current livelihood into prosperity through the use of available local resources as envisioned in its mission.
To achieve self-reliance and alleviation of poverty among the poor, ICP focus its efforts in promotion and development of agriculture sector through the introduction of new cost-effective technologies and innovations that can enhance farmer’s ability to expand their farm production through training farmers on use of ox plough, land preparation, post -harvest techniques, production of composite manure, pest and disease control, entrepreneurship and business skills. We also promote cooperative development which are powerful tools in fighting poverty and advancement of self-reliance society.
We promote access to finance among the poor through introduction of Village Savings and loan Associations and promotion of Savings and Credit Cooperative Societies (SACCOs) so that the poor who are currently dependent on food aid from humanitarian agencies becomes self-reliant and prosperous.
