Agriculture/Food Security and livelihood activities.
Our activities mainly focus on promoting best agricultural practices in the communities where our services are available. To achieve this, we train farmers on agronomic practices like early land preparation, crop calendar, early pest disease control, weed control, crop spacing etc. We also promote vegetable production, poultry farming and animal production (piggery, goats) to enhance household income and food security of poor household.
Livelihood
activities.
Our livelihood activities are focused on income generating activities targeting vulnerable women and youth in the communities on areas such as, agribusiness, carpentry, masonry/brick laying, tailoring/knitting, bee keeping, catering, hair dressing, entrepreneurship skills etc. This can be done through training and giving them startup capital or tools. We also train our beneficiaries on value addition on honey processing and how to make their own modern hives
